Dr. Stacey L. Davenport is the founder and CEO of Davenport Search Partners. Her depth of industry experience combined with a strong track record of executive search expertise in the last 25 years have made her a public figure in the industry with numerous interviews in the Wall Street Journal, an interview on the NBC Evening News with Tom Brokaw and highlights in Forbes and Business Week, among others.

She specializes in serving Venture Capital and PE backed companies as well as Fortune 500 global organizations. Previously, she served as the Global Life Sciences and Healthcare and the Board Practice Leader for AT Kearney Executive Search, the fifth largest retained executive search firm in the world, successfully acquired by EDS. Prior to her search career, she spent 10 years in Interventional Cardiology clinical practice with the last 3 years leading the business operations.

While starting her career early on in the investment banking industry, Ms. Davenport became certified as a Registered Investment Advisor and obtained her Series 7, 63 and 65 licensing exams. She received her degree in Molecular Genetics and Cellular Biology from the University of Texas, trained in Pharmacology at AMI/University of Washington, passed the RCIS and RDCS boards in Adult Cardiology and completed the Advanced Program on Negotiation from Harvard University. She also completed her MBA and PhD Degrees in Business Administration, subsequently studying executive behavior and emotional intelligence, completing her doctoral dissertation on The Social Intelligence of Executives.
