Todd Davenport, MBA

Prior to joining his sister and Partner, Stacey Davenport with Davenport Search Partners in 2007, Mr. Davenport spent 18 years in industry, holding technical and senior leadership positions with blue chip companies such as Dell Computer, EDS, First Data Corporation, NCR, and Solectron and also founded his own executive search firm in 2011. Mr. Davenport has a broad base of search experience in Technology, Life Sciences, Consumer Products, Industrial and Defense sectors serving Fortune 500 companies and early start-up ventures worldwide.
His depth of industry experience includes leading the information technology transformation of a $4B financial services divestiture, leading software development efforts for the JPATS training management systems as part of the $7B Joint Primary Aviation Training program with the United States Navy and Air Force, and driving operational excellence programs in several Fortune 100 information technology companies. Todd’s expertise in hardware and software development, from hands-on COBOL and C in mainframe environments and large team development in distributed environments and custom development in C/C++, .NET, and JAVA to ERP and CRM deployments across multiple platforms such as ORACLE and SAP. His knowledge and experience has proven a key differentiator for his clients.
Before entering industry, Todd spent over ten years as a United States Navy pilot serving in Desert Shield/Storm, Operation Joint Endeavor in Bosnia, and multiple counter-narcotic operations. He is also certified as a Lean/Six Sigma Master Black Belt, ASQ Software Engineer and Quality Manager, with extensive training and expertise in ITIL and CMM as well as cybersecurity and information security. Mr. Davenport completed his Bachelors of Mechanical/Electrical Engineering at the University of Oklahoma and his MBA in Finance/Management at Texas A&M University.
